Check this page for events and updates for the events. Sometimes we have to cancel riding for weather or there are changes to times, we will attempt to update as soon as we can.
Volunteering is required for all families, this allows us to keep everything free! We strongly prefer 4-5 events per family. Parents can volunteer at the stadium events in lieu of their kids. Reach out for instructions on how to sign up!
Collage World Series is our biggest fundraiser, we work in the concession stands and Cherish get 100% of the tips and a portion of the stand sales. Volunteers must be 18 years or older per stadium policy.
Husker Football games is a fun relaxed way to we earn funds for the horses. We work in the concession stands and earn money per volunteer we bring or a portion of sales (whichever is greater). Must be 16 years or older per stadium policy.
Twice a year we host work days on the property to clean it up and prepare it for summer/winter seasons. This is a great opportunity for the younger members to learn new skills! This is open to all ages.
Enjoy the fruits of your labor and join us for riding. We attempt to alternate Saturdays and Sundays but this is always weather pending and can change per our volunteer instructors schedules. Pants and closed toed shoes required! Don't forget sunscreen, bugspray, and WATER!
We provide completely free riding typically on alternating Saturdays and Sundays, year-round (weather and volunteer avaibility pending). We take all experience levels and will teach brand new members. We will ride in the pasture or go out on trail rides. Our only requirement is that members (or parents) participate in some of our volunteer opportunities, this allows us to keep everything free.
We participate in local parades where the kids have the opportunity to ride through the parade and/or pass out candy. We also do some "pony" ride events for local churches and other organizations.
